Chess notation comes here.
Set Up a Chess Position
🟡 Desktop: Drag and drop pieces directly onto the chessboard, drag existing pieces to new squares, or click a piece and then click a square.
🟡 Mobile: Tap a piece and then tap a square to place it on the chessboard.
🟡 Clear Board removes all pieces from the chessboard.
🟡 Start Position restores the normal starting position.
🟡 Turn Remove Piece From Board ON, then click or tap a piece on the board to remove it. Turn it OFF again to continue setting up the position.
🟡 The indicator below the board shows whether it is White to move or Black to move.
🟡 Paste a FEN position from another chess website or program, then click Load FEN.
🟡 Click Copy FEN to copy the current position for use in other chess programs or websites.
Analyze and Play Against Stockfish
🟡 Set up the position you want to analyze or play.
🟡 Turn on TAC to analyze the position with Stockfish.
🟡 Choose a playing strength: Beginner, Club Player, Master Player, or Grandmaster.
🟡 Choose whether you want to play ⚪ White or ⚫ Black, then click ✅ Play to begin the game from the current position.
🟡 During a game, click 🛠️ Setup to return to Chessboard Editor mode.
🟡 Click 📥 Download PGN to save your played game for later replay, analysis, or continued play in MICOS GAP.
🟡 The downloaded PGN includes the game up to the position currently displayed. To download the full game, go to the final position first.
🟡 Import the PGN into MICOS GAP to analyze with variations, add comments, or continue moving the pieces manually.
