Create PGN Chess files
Insert your notation into NotePad.
Insert your notation or copy an opening notation into Notepad.
The trick is to save the file with the extension .pgn
Choose Filetype ‘All Files’. Call it whatever you like but it must be saved as .pgn
Open the PGN File in your Favorite Chess Program.
Normally you can just click on the PNG File and it will automatically open in your chess program.
